We want to paln a trip for august with our three daughter 7,9, and the yougest will be 25 months. My husband thinks the 25 month is to young and won't remeber much of the trip and also it will be too hot in august for her. Any advice on this dilemma?

I see your dilemma Lori. It would be interesting to see how the other Moms and Dad weigh in on this one, but here is my opinion. I used to think that kids should be older to appreciate Walt Disney World, but now I have the complete opposite opinion. I first brought my daughter when she was two and a half, and your husband is right, she remembers nothing about that trip. However, one of her favourite things to do before bed is to look through the photo album of that trip at all of her experiences.

It was a magical experience watching her reaction when she saw her first character, how it  quickly changed from fright, to hugs and huge smiles. There are so many attractions that guests of all ages can enjoy. It is certainly a different holiday for us now that she is nine, but she loves telling people with pride that she's been visiting Disney since she was two.

August can be incredibly hot, so I recommend going to the parks early, and taking a break during the mid-day heat for naps and a swim. Please write back with any other questions you might have!
