    Is the Painting on de Bayou at Port Orleans available again? Also, are the drawing classes at The sart of Animation in session? Thank you, Jenn

    Welcome BACK to planDisney! It is lovely to see you here asking another question. I am so happy that you trust us to provide you with answers. It would be my pleasure to offer you information about some of the fun activities available in the Disney Resort hotels!

    Not only can you embody “les bon temps rouler” when staying at Disney’s Port Orleans Resort – French Quarter, but you can also participate in some fun activities during your stay. Painting on de’ Bayou is a fabulous example of the fun arts and crafts activities offered at the Disney Resort hotels. Painting on de’ Bayou is held on Wednesdays at Sassagoula Floatworks in Disney’s Port Orleans Resort – French Quarter for an additional fee. You can reserve a spot for this fun activity in advance by calling (407) 939-7529.

    While I do not see drawing classes listed as an option on the Recreation tab of Disney’s Art of Animation Resort, you can always call to inquire about this activity or ask the Front Desk Cast Member at the resort. An alternative drawing activity that may be of interest to you is The Animation Experience at Conservation Station at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Theme Park.
