We have paid for our room and dinning pkg and did online check-in leaving a credit card number. Does Disney put a hold for a certain dollar amount on the card at check in. Many hotels we go to charge up to $250 even if you pay up front until you check out

    Hi Gerald!

Congratulations on your upcoming stay to Walt Disney World! I called guest services to double check the answer to this and you will be happy to hear that Walt Disney World doesn't hold any dollar amount on your credit card when you provide a credit card for online check-in.

You don't even have to provide a credit card number if you don't want to. The purpose of providing a credit card number is to pay for expenses while you are visiting at Walt Disney World. You can have your credit card number connected to your "Key to the World" card, so that you only have to carry one card to the parks and resorts.

If you prefer, you can pay for your expenses separately while you visit and not have a card associated with your account.

I hope you have a magical stay!

    Magically,
    Stacy
