    i have paid for a preferred room at pop century, if i use the on line check in, is there a spot where i can request a certain room.

    Carol,

    Typically with the online check in there are a few opportunities to make general requests, often related to the proximity to the transportation areas, ground floor accommodations, etc. I have never been able to put in a special room number request. But these menus do change, so you might get lucky.

    That does not mean that you should not do online check in. What I have done, successfully, in the past, is register online. When I arrive, if I don't like my room location, I ask them to change it. If I like it, I keep it. Either way, I saved time with registration, since all the credit card stuff is done.

    HOWEVER, I was not requesting a specific room. What you might do to increase your odds is this;

    1. Make your online reservation. If you get the chance to make a specific room request, do so.
    2. Regardless of what happens in the previous step, call the resort (407-938-4000, last time I checked), and make the specific request. Do not do it before making the online check-in request, as you will want them to amend that check-in, not create a conflicting record of the request.
    Good luck!

    Have a magical vacation!
