We are paid to go to the Very Merry Party on Thursday 12/10. Any idea if traditionally the crowds have been lighter weekdays versus weekends (in the past)? Should I avoid weekend party dates (since we prefer to attempt to avoid the longer lines)?

    Hi Donna,

There is no way to definitely tell which of the Magic Kingdom parties will be the busiest but ones held at the weekend and on holidays do tend to be more crowded.

Typically early December is a quieter time of year at WDW so I would imagine a mid-week party at that time will see lower crowds and fewer queues. I would definitely stick with the Thursday party rather than go to a weekend one!

I went to Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party last year and had a great time, the Castle looks gorgeous and the parade and fireworks are not to be missed. Although the party hours are 7pm till midnight you are actually allowed to enter the park around 4pm with the party ticket. So what I suggest you do is arrive around 4pm, head to your favourite attractions and then you'll have lots of time for the party activities later in the evening!

    Have a great trip,

    Jo
