If I have only paid the deposit this far in my planning how can I cancel my trip?

    Hi there, Nicole!

I’m so glad you stopped by planDisney with a question for us.

I, too, have had to reschedule many magical trips, and although it can be heartbreaking, it helps to know that the magic of Walt Disney World Resort will be here to welcome you when you feel ready to visit.

Nicole, depending on the reservation, you may be able to cancel your Walt Disney World Resort vacation online. First, please head to your My Disney Experience account and log in. Next, hover over the My Disney Experience logo on the top right corner and select My Plans from the drop-down menu. Please locate your reservation, and if it can be canceled online, you will see the option to Cancel Reservation. If you do not see it, no worries; you can call and speak to a friendly Cast Member at Disney Resort Hotel Reservations, and they will be happy to assist you.

Please note a cancellation fee may apply depending on the time of cancellation. If you have booked a Vacation Package with a Disney Resort hotel room and theme park tickets, be sure to cancel the package 30 days or more before your arrival date to receive a full refund. Prices are subject to change, and you may find the Cancellation and Refunds section in the Walt Disney Travel Company Terms and Conditions for Walt Disney World Resort page to be helpful.

We can’t wait to welcome you to the magic when you’re ready, Nicole.
