If you make a packeage reservation and then later a discount on the room or a dining plan discount is advertised will they offer you the better deal?

I like the way you think. Walt Disney World vacation special offers, deals and discounts definitely make budgeting for your trip much more magical. And staying vigilant of new promotions is important because you may qualify.

The key is reading the Offer Details, you know the fine print we all like to skim over. There are many times the new offer works in your favor and is a Practically Perfect addition. There are, also, terms to be considered such as only a specific number of rooms are allocated, exclusion of certain room types, offer may not be combined with other discounts, or must be booked within specific dates. Again the fine details.

BUT, this should not deter you, there are a couple of ways you can check if your reservation will work. First, on the Special Offers page select the promotion you are interested in. On the right-hand side of the page is an option which states, “Have an Existing Reservation? See if you can apply this special offer to your reservation.” Follow the prompts and see if some Pixie Dust will be sprinkled your way.  And second, speak to a Cast Member who can easily see if your offers can be combing and may have some suggestions to make the offer work in your favor. Call (407) 939-6599 for further assistance.

In the meantime, check out the planDisney Panel Extras and see what tips we have compiled from the many yEARS of visiting Walt Disney World. And because you are visiting during the 50th Anniversary of Walt Disney World follow the Disney Parks Blog for continued updates on this much anticipated Magical Celebration.

    Have a Practically Perfect Day,

Meet the Panelist: Amy, Virginia

I am a Dreamer who has always believed dreams are meant to be the path to your future. Walt Disney, I believe, felt the same way, "All our dreams can come true, if we have the courage to pursue them." Disney has always been proof that endless imagination and the passion to make them come to fruition is possible. I will never be to old for Disney, it is home to all of us Dreamers.
