Packaged booked for 3 adults (resort and tickets) on the Disney website. How can we add a fourth adult to the room that will be staying with us? They don't need tickets are they are a passholder. Thank you in advance for your help!

Hi there Heather, I'm pleased to wish you a warm Canadian welcome back to planDisney!

From the looks of it, it's been over a decade since you last asked us a question here and I can't imagine what it must be like to look back on your son's first cruise and now see the Disney adult he's likely grown up to become today! Seeing as you've stayed at Disney's Coronado Springs Resort as well as Disney's Polynesian Village Resort in the past, you definitely know the perks of being a Disney Resort Hotel guest - especially when it's all purchased as part of a package.

I reached out to the Disney Resort Hotel Reservations line and they let me know that while they can often help modify or assist with bookings when adding additional party members to your package, they were only able to do so on their end if your additional adult were to also add their own set of tickets as part of your package. In my opinion this isn't quite the most useful to have redundant tickets when you're already an Annual Passholder, unless your stay takes place at a time of year when they might be blocked out on the Annual Passholder Admission Calendar (which varies between types of passes)

We encountered a similar situation on a recent stay at Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa and the Cast Members at the Front Desk suggested adding them as a guest to the room as we checked in. (Though this can vary depending on your room type and occupancy, I can't imagine a situation where four adults wouldn't be accommodated when you already have 3 booked.) In our experience, this was pretty easily accomplished and we received additional cards to unlock our room on request.

So much has changed around here at planDisney and as someone who's been around asking one of the first questions to the panel, I invite you to check out our new dedicated home on the Disney Parks Blog for our content! All of the other fellow Canucks that have since lent their voices to the planDisney panel look forward to seeing you back soon, so don't wait another decade!

Here's to many more years at the Most Magical Place on Earth!
