Hello! Can I have a package delivered to Fort Wilderness before my arrival? If so, how long before my arrival can the package be received? Also, is there a fee for sending a package to Fort Wilderness? Thank you!

    Hi Kimberly!

Thanks for stopping by planDisney with a great question!  Before you know it, you'll be enjoying the natural beauty of Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort.  Whether you're staying at a campsite or in a cabin, you'll find plenty of activities to enjoy during your stay.  If you like fishing, I'd highly recommend one of the guided fishing excursions offered here.  My husband and my two oldest boys had a blast exploring the waters of the Seven Seas Lagoon on a recent visit!

Kimberly, you'll be happy to know that you'll find two options for purchasing the "bare necessities" during your visit to Fort Wilderness - Settlement Trading Post and Meadow Trading Post.  However, if you'd like to ship anything before your arrival, you can easily do that as well!  When sending a package to your resort, please include your name, identify yourself as a Guest, and include the date of your arrival.  You will also want to include the direct mailing address for Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort.  Don't worry, it's the same address for both the cabins and the campsites!  I also chatted with a Cast Member who was able to confirm that there is a small handling fee (currently $6-$8 per package, prices subject to change), and resorts are able to receive and hold your package up to one week before your check-in date.

Don't forget that as a resort Guest, you can take advantage of many great perks during your stay, including my personal favorite, Early Theme Park Entry.  Our family is full of early-risers, and this benefit gives us the chance to head to the parks first thing in the morning to enjoy some of our favorite attractions before the park even officially opens!

I hope this information has been helpful, Kimberly, and that you have a rootin' tootin' good time at Fort Wilderness in just a few short weeks!  If you have any other questions as you prepare for your trip, please stop by to see us again here at planDisney!
