Hi Hallie,
Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. You sound like all of us - a super planner, and hopefully, I will be able to help you plan
your littles’ sleeping situation!
So, the
Cabins at Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort are approximately 500 square feet and include a full kitchen, bath, and separate bedroom. The bedroom is completely private, with a door that separates it from the main living area. There are a queen bed and a bunk bed with two twin beds in one bedroom.
I looked at the floor plan and watched a video tour (quick Google sEARch), and I think adding a
Pack ’n Play to the room is going to be a bit of a squeeze. You might (emphasis on the “might”) be able to fit it by putting half of it in the closet, but that even looks like it will take a bit of Tetris-like planning. I think your best bet is to set the
Pack ’n Play up in the living room.
Regardless of where you set up the crib, no worries about cost. Walt Disney World Resort is happy to provide complimentary high chairs, toddler bed rails, and cribs to its
Resort Guests. If the high chair and crib aren’t already in your
Cabin (check the closet) when you arrive, a quick call to the
Front Desk will bring the chair and Pack ’n Play to your Cabin. I would suggest calling and adding the rails and playpen to your hotel reservation as quantities are limited.
Hallie, you know where to find us with any other questions. chEARs to magical planning!
