Hi Melissa! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!
Bringing your own lunch to any of the
Walt Disney World theme parks is definitely allowed. I have friends and family who pack a lunch because they have picky eaters on their hands and others who just want to save some money. My husband and I bring in bottled water, sodas, juice boxes and snacks for our girls every time we visit.
Just a few things to keep in mind, a sandwich is probably your best bet because food items that need heating are not allowed. There are
restrictions when it comes to some of the items you can bring into the park. Try to stick to plastic containers because glass bottles aren't allowed, with the exception of baby food jars.
When you make it to your park of choice for the day and reach the security check point, just let the Security Cast Member know what you have in your bag before they start checking it.
Even though I bring in my own drinks and some snacks, I always make room for some popcorn and dessert. If part of your trip includes the
Magic Kingdom Park, I suggest making a stop at
Sleepy Hollow in Liberty Square. I've never been disappointed by any of their sweet waffle sandwiches!
Hope you have an awesome visit! Stop in again if you have any other questions!
