Welcome Aboard, Maria!
For any Disney Cruise Line vacation, you will want to pack pretty much the same types of clothes. The weather in the Bahamas is warm all year round.
Here is a sample packing list that I use:
***Passport (or identification)
2 swim suits
1 swim cover up
2 pairs of shorts or capris
3 t-shirts or casual shirts
1 pair long pants (just in case I'm cold!)
1 pirate outfit
3 evening outfits (casual sun dresses for me, khakis and polos for my husband)
1 pair flip flops
1 pair good walking shoes with socks
1 pair evening shoes
1 light jacket or sweater (the dining rooms are notoriously chilly)
underthings :)
toiletries (varies by person, shampoo, conditioner, soap, & body lotion are provided in your stateroom)
makeup
sunscreen (do NOT forget this!)
hat
sunglasses
***If I'm on a 5 or 7-Night cruise, this list is slightly longer and involves formalwear
extras:
foaming hand soap (I do not like slimy bar soap!)
clothes pins (the pool decks are super windy, these will keep your towel on your chair)
small handbag to carry my phone and Key To The World card
waterproof camera
beach bag
The dress code for the main dining rooms is
cruise casual, which simply means no swimwear or tank tops. If you are planning to try one of the adult exclusive dining options, such as
Palo or Remy, there is a stricter dress code. I highly recommend trying brunch at Palo, if it is offered on your cruise.
I hope this helps with your packing! Have a wonderful time cruising with Disney Cruise Line!
Happy Cruising, Tracy V.
