Hi there, Archimedes!
Thank you for (pod) racing over to planDisney with your question. We’re more than happy to assist with any inquiries big or small, so we are the panelists you’re looking for.
Disney Bounding is such a fun way to enjoy
Walt Disney World Resort theme parks as an adult, and Darth Maul is going to make an iconic character to emulate. I still remember my Star Wars-loving father’s audible gasp in the theatre when he first appeared on screen.
I spoke with a friendly Cast Member to ensure that your makeup won’t be a (phantom) menace in
Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge, and I’m happy to report, Archimedes, that I have a good feeling about this.
While there are no concrete guidelines for makeup, face paint and face coverings are prohibited. For safety reasons, guests’ identifies cannot be obscured, so in the spirit of Bounding, just be sure that your makeup serves as an accent rather than a mask. When selecting the remainder of your outfit, keep Walt Disney World Resort’s
park dress guidelines in mind understanding that theme park entry is contingent upon these guidelines and is granted subject to Cast Member discretion. My planDisney pal,
Prince, made his voyage back from Batuu today and reported that he encountered many bounding travelers during his journey, so you will be in good company from both the dark and light sides of the Force.
It sounds like you have a fun, full day planned at Black Spire Outpost, so I suggest starting it with a bit of caffeine. I love the Cold Brew Black Caf from
Kat Saka’s Kettle. While it isn’t the beverage that will bring balance to my diet, it is the chosen one for my taste buds. There’s even a spiked version for adults to enjoy!
I hope this was helpful, Archimedes, and that you have a wonderful time in Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge. Don’t hesitate to
drop back by if you have any additional questions before your visit!
May the Force by with you in 2024,
Lizzie
