We have our own snorkel equipment that we would like to use at Castaway. However I noticed that Disney's rental has a yellow snorkel vest which is required to be worn. We do not have a snorkel vest. Does that mean that we cannot bring what we have?

Ahoy, Susan!
Snorkeling in the lagoon on Castaway Cay is a great way to see the underwater beauty of island. Many Guests like to bring their own gear for the experience, so the yellow snorkel vests are free of charge if you have your own snorkel, mask and flippers. Just stop by and pick one up to use for your snorkel experience. There are showers outside the bathrooms to rinse your equipment before you head back aboard the ship.
