Greetings, Fellow Floridian Patty!
Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel. One of the best advantages of living in Florida is being so close to The Mouse, and I love that you want to take advantage of that and treat yourself to
a magical visit.
It sounds like you might be a snowbird, and I applaud the choice! We moved from Boston two yEARs ago, and
Florida weather is a boon for my soul. No worries that your driver's license has your Michigan address, there are a few other ways to
prove residency:
-State or military-issued ID card with
Florida address.
-Proof of current mortgage (with
Florida address and your name).
-Bills, Policies, or Registration in your name (i.e., automobile registration, insurance policy, or statement from utilities, insurance, etc. note though that the statements can be no more than two months old).
-Mail from a certified institution such as a bank, federal, or state agency with your name.
If you don't have a government-issued ID with your
Florida address, make sure to bring a picture ID (you can use your Michigan license), along with one of the above. Current statements and bills that are printed from an electronic version or via smartphones are acceptable.
Sherry,
2020 is THE yEAR to visit Walt Disney World. ChEARs to
many magical memories!
