Can we take our own food and umbrellas into Typhon Lagoon?

    Hi Janis,

Welcome to planDisney! I’m so excited to learn you’re planning a splashtastic day at Typhoon Lagoon! You’re going to love the laid-back, island vibes, the thrill of Miss Adventure Falls, and that giant wave pool that’s basically legendary.

Now let’s talk about what you can bring along to make your beach day even better!

Great news! Yes, you can bring your own food and drinks into the park, which is awesome if you’re looking to save a little or have your favorite snacks on hand. Just be sure to leave any glass containers or alcohol at home (those aren’t allowed), and try to keep everything in a small, soft-sided cooler that’s easy to tuck under a lounge chair. Think beachy and simple. Perfect for snacking between wave sessions!

As for umbrellas, personal ones are totally fine to bring in, as long as they’re a manageable size and don’t block the view or take up too much space. You’ll just want to be thoughtful about where you set it up so everyone around you can enjoy the sunshine (or shade!) too. And if you're looking to level up your relaxation game, Typhoon Lagoon offers umbrella rentals and Beachcomber Shacks for a little extra comfort. Totally optional but very “treat yourself.”

So pack those snacks, grab that umbrella, and get ready to float into paradise. If you need tips on what to do first (hint: wave pool or lazy river are both solid choices), I’m always here to help!

    Have the splashiest time ever,
