Welcome to planDisney, Jennifer! The final countdown to your magical vacation is on and it looks like you'll be arriving at the Most Magical Place on Earth in just two more days! Be sure to pack your Mickey ears and your swimsuits so you'll be ready to splash into the fun of the Disney Water Parks on your visit!
Jennifer,
Disney's Coronado Springs Resort is such a beautiful resort choice; I have great memories of staying here for my honeymoon years ago! The Gran Destino Tower is stunning and I love
The Lost City of Cibola Pool at this resort as well! It sounds like you may be taking advantage of the
complimentary water park admission for guests of a Disney Resort hotel, so let's talk about how to get there easily so you can dive into the fun!
Complimentary resort transportation is offered to both water parks, and to get to
Blizzard Beach Water Park from Coronado Springs or any of the Disney All-Star Resorts, you can take a
direct bus to the water park. To get to
Typhoon Lagoon Water Park from any Disney Resort hotel, you will need to first take a bus to Disney Springs and then transfer to a bus to the water park.
Keep in mind that as of May 1, 2025, only Typhoon Lagoon will be operating while Blizzard Beach closes for a refurbishment through May 20, 2025. On May 21, 2025, both water parks will be
operating simultaneously for the first time in several years! It's going to be a great way for guests to cool off all summer long!
Jennifer, I hope this helps and I hope you have a fantastic day splashing away your worries on your upcoming visit! If you have any other questions before or during your vacation, come back and see us anytime at
planDisney!
See you real soon,
Alison
