Welcome aboard, Anamaria! It sounds like you'll be setting sail on the Disney Wonder for your very first Disney Cruise Line voyage! I'm super excited for you because the Wonder is one of my favorite of Disney's four pixie-dusted ships.
My family and I are big water drinkers. Our kids only get soft drinks as a special treat, so water is a big staple. When we sail, I have been really impressed with the taste of the filtered water that is available onboard, so we have chosen not to bring our own bottled water, or purchase the bottled water onboard since the filtered water tastes so great. But, if you'd like to bring your own bottled water, you're welcome to do so. As long as you carry it on during embarkation in your carry-on bags, and not in your checked luggage, you'll be all set. In addition, you may want to check out the bottled water packages that Disney offers on the
Gifts and Amenities webpage. It costs a bit more than bringing your own, but especially if you're flying in for the cruise, it sure does simplify things to let Disney just deliver it to your stateroom!
Many guests also bring along their own reusable travel mugs to fill up on drinks throughout the day and night at the 24-hour beverage station on the pool deck. The filtered water there tastes great too, by the way, and that's what I drink all day, but I have to admit, my kids do take full advantage of the vacation by drinking
soft drinks more often, so they love to swing by this spot! We let them fill up a cup at the soft serve ice cream station and then top it off with Coke at the beverage station to create their own Coke floats. This is a fun treat to bring to the nightly Broadway-style shows!
Have fun planning your trip, and let us know if you have other questions. We're happy to help!
