I am so overwhelmed by Disney! We are going in May with our kids aged 6, 7 & 8. We bought a "Park Hopper," but now I'm told we probably won't use it and that is better to do one park per day. Any thoughts??? Thank you!

    Hello, Karen!

In my opinion, the Park Hopper option is valuable to many -- but not all -- Guests of the Walt Disney World Resort. For my family, it depends on length of stay, pace of vacation, theme park choices, and obtaining desired dining reservations.

The goal of any vacation is to relax, so please don't worry about trying to do it all. Even if you visited Walt Disney World for an entire month, it is very unlikely that you would be able to do everything available. My advice to you is to take a look at the available attractions at each theme park and mark your favorites. If you want to visit all of the theme parks on a short vacation, then you may want to stick with the Park Hopper option. This will allow you to spend as much time as you need at each of the theme parks to experience your must-do attractions. If your vacation is a bit longer, you may not necessarily need the Park Hopper to enjoy all of the theme parks and attractions. It really depends on your personal preference for scheduling your vacation days.

I hope that you and your family have a very magical Walt Disney World vacation, Karen! If you have any additional questions or find yourself in need of personalized recommendations, please do not hesitate to stop back by the Moms Panel. Happy planning!
