Hi Colleen,
With so many wonderful amenities and recreational opportunities, you're going to LOVE staying right in the middle of the magic at a
Disney Resort hotel!
I'm happy to let you know that as long as your room isn't at max occupancy, you'll be able to have a fellow Mouseketeer join you for the night. Due to safety concerns, Disney is quite strict about occupancy, though, so you'll need to make sure that your room will accommodate an additional Guest. If it will, you'll simply need to let the front desk know, and they can take care of everything for you. If you already know who will be joining you, though, I'd suggest going ahead and adding them to your reservation so that they too may enjoy all of the
perks of staying at a Disney Resort hotel! I once had a Disney Resort hotel stay booked when I found out that one of my fellow Disney Parks Moms Panelists was going to be able to join me. Sharing the magical moments with a great friend? Yes, please! I simply called a friendly Cast Member and asked that she be added to my reservation, and we were able to create some wonderful Disney memories together.
It is possible, Colleen, that this gets a little bit more complicated if you have a
Disney Resort Hotel Package with additional extras like a
Disney Dining Plan booked. If that's the case, I'd suggest
calling a Cast Member to ask about how they'd like to handle an additional Guest for one night.
Thanks so much for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel, and please let us know if we can help with anything else as you're planning your trip. I hope that you and your entire party have a truly magical vacation!
Missy
