    This might be overkill, but...Can i bring souvenir mugs from previous years to get discounted refills?

    The terms that go with the purchase of the souvenir mugs is that they are only for the trip on which they are purchased. So technically the day that you left and flew/drove home, they changed from being mugs to souvenirs. 

    That is not to say that others have not done it before, and won't do it again in the future, but technically no, you are not supposed to bring them back and use them again. Disney would want you to buy a new set of mugs.

    But it was a good money saving idea! Don't ever think it is overkill to try to save money!
