Hi Lhester Harry,
Welcome to planDisney! Thanks for stopping by with your question. We are always happy to assist other Guests with their
Walt Disney World Resort vacation planning.
You will be arriving at The Most Magical Place on Earth at one of my most favorite times of the year! There is nothing better than hearing holiday tunes, seeing spectacular Christmas trees, and enjoying specialty holiday treats all around the theme parks. My planDisney friends and I are pros at making and capturing holiday memories. Check out this post for
“7 Tips for Great Holiday Photos” on the Disney Parks Blog!
Unfortunately,
tickets are nontransferable and nonrefundable once purchased. I have a couple of options for you that would not give you a refund of any sort but would offer you some alternatives. First, if you have not used your tickets yet (have not already entered a theme park using that ticket), you can
transfer the unused ticket to another Guest. If you plan to return to Walt Disney World in the future, you could modify your unused ticket to another date. Of course, the other option is to extend your visit. My family and I often enjoy spending the morning in one of the parks before heading home. It might be a win-win for the remaining day on your ticket!
You can
modify theme park tickets online by going to “My Plans” under the My Disney Experience tab. You have until midnight Eastern Time of the day before your ticket’s first valid use date. Remember that no refund or credit is given if your change results in a lower ticket price. You will also pay the difference if the new ticket date is an additional cost.
I hope this information has been helpful to you, even if it wasn’t exactly what you were hoping for.
If you have other questions about how to
make the most of your holiday visit to Walt Disney World Resort,
please write back and let me know! I would love to share more tips to help you enjoy every moment of your vacation.
Wishing you many magical memories,
Shannon
