Overbooked and need to choose btwn DSB @ Tusk or Chef M's for lunch! Don's is our only chance for breakfast and like the safari theme, but hear CM's is great! On a "free" day, so park not a concern. Thx for prev advice, got RagRoad & Boma

    Katie,

    That is a tough call!

Of course you know that Donald's Safari Breakfast is inside the Animal Kingdom park, so if you are doing this on a day where you would not have planned on using a park ticket, that would rule that restaurant out right away.

Otherwise, here is what I use as my deciding factor. If the group/family likes more exotic dining, I choose Tusker House. It has a buffet that has all the american classics, but also features several African and Indian inspired dishes. If, however, our group is looking for classic American fare only, then I choose Chef Mickey's.

Either is fantastic, and while Chef Mickey's is probably the more famous and popular of the two, but both are great. Frankly it is a bit odd to hear of dining at Chef Mickey's at lunch, as it is typically open only for Breakfast and Dinner.

However, in your case, I would go with Chef Mickey's. Why? Well, you are already going to Boma, which is the inspiration for Tusker House, so you will have had a similar experience already, albeit for dinner. And as I always like trying something new!

Have a magical (and delicious) vacation!
