Oo-de-lally, golly what a day, MaryAnn!
I'm so glad you followed Robin Hood and Little John through the forest and found your way here to planDisney! I cannot tell you how happy my heart was when I saw your question! As an auntie to two precious nieces myself, I can completely identify with you wanting to plan ahead to make their trip as magical and memorable as possible. We just went on a family trip together in November for my youngest niece's birthday that gave me countless memories to cherish forever. I'm excited for you to do the same with your nieces soon!
It sounds like this might be your first trip to Walt Disney World Resort. Taking that into consideration, I suggest you opt to do two full days in the parks, with only one park per day. This will allow you to truly enjoy every ounce of magic each park you visit has to offer.
Magic Kingdom Park is sure to be a hit with both of your nieces, so it should absolutely be on your must-do list.
I highly encourage you to download the
My Disney Experience App. There is an interactive map feature that has all the information you need to plan out your days. If you click the drop-down menu in the top-middle of the interactive map, you will be able to select from a list of categories, including characters, dining,
Disney PhotoPass locations, and attractions to name a few. You can use the filter feature in the top left corner to see results in a specific theme park and can either move around the map to see exactly where things are located or click "Show List" in the top right corner to see a list of everything in that category in alphabetical order. You can click on individual selections on any list to see applicable details, such as showtimes, locations, directions, height requirements, and more.
If you would rather use a browser to explore what the theme parks have to offer, you can view
Character Experiences,
Attractions and Entertainment, and
dining on the
Walt Disney World Resort website. On the homepage, hover over "Things To Do" in the top menu bar, then click on the option you wish to explore. You can then sort the results by theme park. You can also hover over "Parks & Tickets" in the menu bar and click on the name of a theme park. This will bring up information on everything specific to that park compiled together on one page.
MaryAnn, you can also download a Guide Map for
Magic Kingdom Park,
EPCOT,
Disney's Hollywood Studios, and
Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park online if it would be useful to see everything all laid out at once. I hope this information helps you plan a truly magical vacation with your sweet nieces. Please stop back by and
ask me more questions if you have further needs arise.
Happy planning,
Alyssa
