Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Jack!
What a great coincidence that your business meetings happen to be so close to the Walt Disney World Resort. If I had that fortune, I'd be certain to purchase park tickets and spend as much time in the evenings at the parks as I could. I'm so glad you're considering doing the same!
While there aren't discounted half day tickets available, if you purchase a four-day or three-day
ticket, the individual days are less than if you went only one day. If you're still going to be in town on November 9th, you're in luck because that is the first of the
Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party dates. The party starts at 7 p.m., though I've been able to enter with my party tickets as early as 4:00 p.m. before, and the cost is less than the cost of the full day at the parks. Be sure to purchase your tickets ahead of time as opposed to the day of, as some dates do sell out. Plus, the party is something you simply must experience at least once in your life if you're a Disney fan. There is all sorts of extra magic for party guests that night, including a snowfall on Main Street, special entertainment, the
Mickey's Once Upon A Christmastime Parade (A favorite of mine! I just love the marching toy soldiers!), and so much more. Grab free hot chocolate and tasty cookies as you stroll around the winter wonderland of Magic Kingdom and meet all sorts of Disney friends in their Christmas attire. While the parks are decorated throughout the days, only the party guests get to experience all the extra fun.
I hope that helps you plan as you get ready for your trip, Jack! Have a magical adventure!
