Going to Orlando Dec 14-16 with a soon to be 3 yo girl and and 1.5 yo boy and need a plan. We are going to Magic kingdom Friday the 14 and we don't know what park would be best for toddlers for Saturday? Also do you think we should leave at lunch for naps

    Hi Cathleen,

Any of the Disney parks have activities for children of all ages. However, my personal choice for preschoolers would be the Animal Kingdom. They can see all sorts of wild creature on the walking trails. The Kilimanjaro Safari features African animals. The Nemo and Lion King shows have wonderful music and there are plenty of character greeting opportunities. In my opinion, that's plenty to keep your little ones occupied.

However, if your kids are big fans of Disney Junior or of Beauty and the Beast or Little Mermaid, then Disney's Hollywood Studios is also a good alternative.

Whether to leave for naps is a personal choice. I can say that when my kids were preschoolers we absolutely left mid-day for a break, either a nap or a swim. Even I often need to take a break from all the stimulation during the day. If your kids will fall asleep in a stroller, you might consider staying, but otherwise taking a break usually does make sense.
