I was originally going to stay at Riverside again this trip but with the discounts I am looking at staying at Wilderness Lodge. You seem to really like this property so my question is to you. I want a courtyard room but I don't know if it's better to reque

    Hi!

I do LOVE the Wilderness Lodge! The lodge is a beautiful resort to come home to at the end of a long park day- I immediately feel relaxed and rejuvenated when I walk through the lobby!

The Wilderness Lodge is also a pretty compact resort with the restaurants, shops and guest rooms all located under the same roof. Personally, I prefer this type of layout.

The courtyard rooms have great views from the balconies too! These rooms often overlook the winding river, waterfalls or main resort pool. Personally, I'd prefer to request a room with a view of the main resort pool and I would specify that as your request if its something you'd like as well.

To add a room request, give Disney reservations a call at 407-939-7675 (or contact your travel agent). While room requests are never guaranteed, we've always had good luck at the Wilderness Lodge and I hope you will too!

While you're visiting the lodge be sure to check out the special activities like cookie decorating at Roaring Fork, the rubber duckie races at the stream or even the movies on the beach!

Hope you have a great time!
