I had originally heard that Pixie Hollow and Aurora's cottage were going to be part of the New Fantasyland but now find no information. Do you know of any opening dates? Those were two that we were especially looking forward to!! Thanks!

    Hi Angie,

All reports are that the new Fantasyland elements are AMAZING! I can't wait to see them myself in a few weeks.

There have been significant modifications to the Fantasyland plan since the original announcement of the expansion in 2009. Both the large Pixie Hollow and Aurora's Cottage are items that have been left on the cutting room floor. In their place we now have the Seven Dwarfs Mine Train and Princess Fairytale Hall, which both look super fun to me.

If you're interested in all the changes since the first plan announcement, you may want to head over to the independent website InsideTheMagic.net. Search there for an article called "New Fantasyland Evolution: Walt Disney World Modifies Concepts."

Good luck with your planning. Please let us know if you have additional questions.
