Jeremiah from CA Asked Please note that experiences, policies, pricing and other offerings are subject to change and may have changed since the date of this answer.

I originally bought my pass on the 1st. But renewed on the 4th. Will my monthly payments be on the 4th now?

    Hello there, Jeremiah!

Welcome to planDisney! We're so happy to see you here with us and we're always ready to welcome a fellow Magic Key Holder. I've got to say that I absolutely love having a Magic Key. Some of my favorite souvenirs have been giveaways that I've discovered on the Magic Key Portal of the Disneyland Mobile App!

As far as your question is concerned, the date of your new monthly payments will be the date of your renewal. Your new Magic Key contract that was sent to you upon renewal, which should be dated the 4th, contains a clause under "When Payments Are Due" that states that payments are due "Today and then monthly on the same date of each month thereafter..." so it appears as if the new due date will shift to your renewal date. In my experience, I have found that my credit card is sometimes charged a couple of days later, possibly due to weekends or holidays.

I hope you'll be able to visit the Disneyland Resort this year. The year-long Disney100 Celebration just began and the new nighttime spectacular Wondrous Journeys is fantastic! Be sure to follow the official Magic Key Instagram account and the Disney Parks Blog for the latest news and information on events at the Disneyland Resort.

Congrats again on being a Magic Key Holder, Jeremiah, and I hope you found this answer useful. Please feel free to visit us again anytime at planDisney!

Come back again; we'll see you then.

Meet the Panelist: Al, California

Ahoy there from the heart of Steinbeck Country in central California! I've been visiting the Disneyland Resort since childhood and fell in love with the sense of absolute immersion that the Imagineers have achieved. My favorite attraction is Pirates of the Caribbean because where else can you go from a California day to an evening boat ride in the bayou with "salty old pirates"? I'm a veterinarian and an all-around Disney geek and enthusiast. I'd love to help you plan your next Disneyland trip! Learn More About Al
