Hi, When ordering food from Quick Service location on Dining Plan, does my 6 year old have to order from kids menu still? thanks

Hi, Melissa! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! I love the Disney Dining Plans for the convenience they afford my family. The last thing I want to worry about while on vacation is cooking a meal for my family. All we have to do is make an Advance Dining Reservation for our favorite Table Service dining location or simply head to the nearest Quick Service location. There are some delicious options across Walt Disney World Resort, covering lots of different ethnic cuisines, even meals from different worlds (Satu'li Canteen is amazing!).

Melissa, as you use your Dining Plan, check your receipts. There will be a handy counter at the bottom that shows how many Quick Service, Snack, and Adult and Child Table Service entitlements remain in your account. You can even check this balance on the My Disney Experience mobile app, found right within your Resort hotel information. You will notice that Quick Service entitlements are not separated into Adult and Child portions. Your child will be able to order from the Adult Menu at Quick Service locations; however, your child will need to order from the Kids Menu at Table Service dining locations. In my experience, the Adult Quick Service entrees can be quite large, so the Kids portion may work well. I do understand though how at some dining locations, the Adult Menu may offer more appealing and adventurous options!

Thank you so much for stopping by with your question. Please let us know if you have any other questions as you continue to plan your pixie-dusted adventures!
