Oh my Disney, Maria! You're going to Walt Disney World in a few days! Around this time in my trip planning process, I look like Mickey as he struggles with his overloaded suitcase, in the iconic 1936
Moving Day short (look it up...it's my favorite GIF)!
I can certainly understand your anxiety. Typically, your Walt Disney World Resort hotel's address needs to be added when you place your
MagicBand® order. In situations like this, I always recommend contacting the
Internet Help Desk at (407) 939-4357, since they are pros at handling these kinds of issues.
MagicBand fulfillment and shipping should take about 11 days, so it's possible that your bands have already been shipped to your home. If so, you will receive an email notification that will include tracking information so you can follow your MagicBands during their journey. You can also check on your
My Disney Experience account under MagicBand and Cards. My friend,
Samantha, ordered a Happily Ever After MagicBand for her upcoming stay, and she said it arrived in about a week after she placed the order. I'm keeping my fingers and toes crossed that some pixie dust shows up in your mailbox soon!
Sometimes, unfortunately, things don't go as we plan. I was so excited about the special runDisney MagicBand that I had picked out for the 2020 Disney Princess Half Marathon weekend. I was devastated when I got to the airport and realized that I had left it on my bedside table at home. While the trusty gray band they provided me with at the resort wasn't as cute, it was still just as magical!
If your MagicBands don't make it in time, stop at the front desk of your Walt Disney World Resort hotel, and they'll be happy to help you. Also, the single-use batteries inside the MagicBands have a life span of approximately two years, so you can always use your upgraded bands another time (who needs an excuse to plan another trip?!).
Thank you for visiting us at planDisney, Maria. See ya' real soon!
