Hi Keellin!
I am so sorry for the difficulty that you are experiencing in booking your
Walt Disney World vacation! Thank you for bringing your question to
planDisney and allowing us to help you plan your trip!
While I am unsure of the reason for the discrepancy between the quoted price and the charged price, I can provide a few solutions.
If you received the quote from a Walt Disney World Cast Member, obtained by calling (407) 939-1936, the rate you were quoted should match the rate you were charged. There are a few reasons why this could possibly vary. One possible reason could be if you were quoted a rate for a particular date, but you booked for a different date.
Walt Disney World tickets vary in price depending upon the season. Another possible reason is that maybe you received a quote for tickets for a longer length of admissions than you booked. For example, tickets of three days or longer when purchased in advance over the phone or online are less expensive than a one or two-day ticket. Yet another possible explanation is that you were quoted a price for a base ticket, but you booked a ticket with the park hopper, water park & sport option, or park hopper plus. Finally, possibly the quoted ticket price did not include Genie+, but you added Genie+ when you booked your tickets.
While I am unsure which, if any, of these possibilities apply to your specific situation, these are possible explanations. If you realize that you booked the incorrect ticket option, you can easily modify the reservation online or by calling (407) 939-1936.
You can also link your husband's Disney account with yours online. Visit the
Walt Disney World website and click on "
My Family & Friends List." Click on +Add Guest and you have the option to 1) “Find through my connected Guests”, 2) enter his name, age, and other information or 3) Import from a Walt Disney World Resort Reservation. The easiest way is to add your husband’s information and choose “I’ll manage all plans for this Guest” or “Share Planning with this Guest”.
Enter your husband’s email address that he uses for his Disney account. He will receive an invitation to connect with you on your Family & Friends list. Once he accepts your invitation, both of you should appear on each other’s Family & Friends list. You’ll have the option to modify what gets shared with him.
I hope that this helps answer all of your questions. If there is anything else I can help you with at all, please let us here at planDisney know!
Magically,
Stacy
