Hi Linda!
When you are
purchasing tickets online for your magical Walt Disney World Resort vacation, you actually have multiple options that will allow you to skip going to Guest Relations before entering the parks!
Once you have assigned the tickets to each member of your party at checkout, the tickets will be connected directly to your
My Disney Experience accounts. If you (and the rest of your party) have active
MagicBands connected to your My Disney Experience accounts, you will then be able to use your MagicBands to enter the parks without going to Guest Relations. Also, you can choose to either have the tickets emailed to you or mailed using "snail mail." Even though you shouldn't need them, it is still always a good idea to bring either the email confirmation or the hard card tickets (depending on your chosen delivery method) with you, even if you are using MagicBands--just in case.
If you do not have MagicBands and choose to have your purchased tickets mailed to you, the hard card tickets are your admission, and you will not need to go to Guest Relations. If you do not have MagicBands and choose to have your purchase tickets emailed to you, generally you can still enter the park at the turnstiles, but you will need to have your confirmation email, a photo ID and the card you used to purchase the tickets. The Cast Member at the turnstiles will give you hard card tickets.
If you decide to purchase special promotion tickets like U.S. Military or Florida Resident tickets, you will have to visit Guest Relations before proceeding to the turnstiles.
Have a Great Big Beautiful Tomorrow!
