Hi, Sun! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel and thanks so much for stopping by with your question! I have spoken with a manager at Morimoto Asia a few times recently to check on their
Disney Dining Plan use and have some information to help you plan for an amazing meal. If you would like, go ahead and have the
current menu from their website available as I cover your dining options.
At this time, Morimoto Asia requires two Disney Deluxe Dining Plan meal entitlements per guest for dinner. Each guest in your party will be able to order an appetizer, an entrée, a dessert, and a beverage. For guests over age 21, this beverage can be an alcoholic one, such as their delicious Sake Sangria.
Appetizer selections include any one item from the Small Plates, Dim Sum, and Sushi Rolls, or can be a cup of Soup (Miso or Hot & Sour).
Entrées can be any combination of:
* two Sushi Rolls
* two Dim Sum
* two Small Plates
* one Entrée Salad
* one selection from Meat + Poultry, Noodles + Rice, Half-Rack Morimoto Spare Ribs, Fish, or Vegetables sections of the menu
* a three-ounce order of the Japanese A5 Wagyu Beef (if you would like more than three ounces, I confirmed with the manager that they could add the cost of the upgrade to your bill)
If you are a fan of Peking Duck, four meal entitlements will be taken for a whole duck served for two dinner guests. When I last spoke with the manager, he did confirm for me that, while items under the Rolls section could be included as indicated above, the Combo and Platter items found under the Sushi and Sashimi section are not Disney Dining Plan nor Disney Deluxe Dining Plan eligible.
Please note that menus and plan use could change at any time, so consult your server when you arrive for your meal. If you have any other questions as you continue to plan your pixie-dusted adventure, please do not hesitate to bring another question to us!
