    How do I order the standard Magic Bands, all I have been able to find is how to order the Magic Bands+? I don't want to have to pay additional fees for a Magic Band.

    Hi there, Cindy, and welcome to planDisney. 

    Oh boy, before long, you'll be smiling for pictures in front of Cinderella Castle, flying on Dumbo, and waving to Mickey Mouse! Yay! While I'm technically not a Fairy Godmother, I am a planDisney panelist full of pixie-dusted advice, and I can absolutely help you with your question. 

    MagicBand+ is the latest version of the MagicBand, and it appears that the older standard version is being phased out. I did some checking for you to ensure I had the latest information, and it looks like I cannot find the older standard MagicBands available for pre-arrival purchase or on Disneystore.com either. I also happened to be in the parks recently and could not find any in the shops I visited. 

    Not to worry, though, because if the new MagicBand+ is not what fits into your vacation plans, I don't want you to be Bibbidi Bobbidi Bummed---I have other magical options for you. 

    Disney MagicMobile Service is a great alternative. This feature on your My Disney Experience app is available on an eligible iPhone, Android phone, or Apple Watch. With this service, you can enter the theme parks, link with Disney PhotoPass, tap into your Lightning Lane selections, and much more. When I travel with my extended family, this is the service they prefer to use. 

    Cindy, you can also use a Keys to the World card to hold your tickets and reservations. These plastic key cards are complementary and can be picked up at the Front Desk of your Resort hotel or Guest Services at any of the theme parks. 

    I'm sorry I couldn't help you find the older MagicBands to order, but I'm happy I can help you find alternative services. 

    I notice that you'll be in town for the EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival. I hope you'll have time to explore all it has to offer. You'll find gardens & topiaries, beautiful butterflies, festival photo ops, and some of the most delicious and freshest foods at the Outdoor Kitchens.
