If I order quick service meals for a family of 6 with the DDP, will 6 of my credits be used, or will mobile order/Cast member ask for whom the meals are intended and charge each person 1 credit? I thought they were basically room credits to be shared

Bonjour, Nicole! Welcome back to planDisney! I am so happy to hear you are planning another visit to Walt Disney World Resort. I am happy to help you with your questions today! Just like my pal Lumiére once said, "Be our guest, be our guest, put our service to the test!"

The Disney Dining Plan is a great value for families looking to try different restaurants, both quick-service and table service. Each guest in your resort reservation will have dining plan credits based on the number of nights you stay at your Disney Resort hotel. For example, if you stay five nights and are on the Disney Dining Plan, each guest will have five quick-service credits, five table service credits, five snacks, and one resort-refillable mug. When you redeem your credits, your server will redeem credits for guests who are dining, the same with Cast Members who take your orders at quick service locations. How you redeem your credits depends on you. You do not have to redeem 1 quick service and 1 table service per day. If you dine at certain restaurants like Akershus Royal Banquet Hall, it's important to note that two table service credits will be redeemed.

"Beef ragout, cheese soufflé, pie and pudding en flambé!" There are so many delicious dining options at Walt Disney World! Character meals are some of my family's favorites. Not only will you have a delicious meal, but saying hello to your favorite characters from the comfort of your dining table is a plus! Garden Grill Restaurant and Akershus (both at EPCOT) and 'Ohana at Disney's Polynesian Village Resort are a few of my family's favorites! If character meals are not up your alley, Hakuna Matata! I also recommend Ale & Compass Restaurant at Disney's Yacht Club Resort and Chef Art Smith's Homecomin' in Disney Springs! Moving onto quick-service options, I recommend Regal Eagle Smokehouse at EPCOT, Satu'li Canteen, and Flame Tree Barbecue at Disney's Animal Kingdom Park.

Nicole, I hope all of this information was useful today! I hope you enjoy your visit to Walt Disney World! I have one final recommendation for a snack credit: get the Grey Stuff Cupcake at Gaston's Tavern. "Try the grey stuff, it's delicious, don't believe me? Ask the dishes!"

    Happy Planning!
