    Have to order our magic bands in a few weeks for a March trip. Do you think it's likely that we'll get the new magic bans? granddaughter is hoping for the new ones.

    Hi Deborah!

    Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. I understand your granddaughters excitement about the new MagicBands that will be coming to Walt Disney World!

    While Disney has not released an official date for when guests will begin to receive the MagicBand 2, I know that the Disney Parks Blog announced that retail MagicBand 2 and MagicKeepers will begin to pop up around the resort very soon!  I know that some Annual Passholders have already began to receive them and I hEAR that others have already received them in the mail for late January trips so I'd bet some pixie dust that you'll have them for your trip in March. 

    I hope you and your family have a wonderful time and please let us know if there is anything else we can do to help.
