Welcome to planDisney, Suzanne! Your
Walt Disney World Resort adventure will be here soon, so let's talk about dining at the theme parks while you're here. Eating is my favorite attraction!
I have great news for you! Many dining locations offer kosher options that are prepared by a certified vendor and sealed for your peace of mind. They even come with individually wrapped utensils. Since a third party prepares those dishes, the exact meals will vary.
The
Special Diets Request page includes all the details and contact information for requesting
kosher meals and advises that requests be submitted 24 hours in advance. Some locations do not need advance notice, such as
Cosmic Ray's Starlight Café at Magic Kingdom Park. My tip is to take a screenshot of the list so you'll always have it handy.
If you've already made dining reservations and need to add the request, I recommend calling the dining number provided in the kosher meal information. Cast Members have the most up-to-date information about your options, and they can note a request for kosher meals on your reservation. I recommend letting the host and server know when you arrive, as well.
I hope you swing by Disney Springs during your trip, because
Erin McKenna's Bakery NYC has a huge selection of kosher sweets. My family eats a plant-based diet, and every single item in that glorious dessert case is vegan. The Whoopie Pie is my favorite, but you can't go wrong with
anything on the menu!
Suzanne, I hope you make memories to treasure during your Disney stay. Thanks again for stopping by
planDisney, and come back anytime!
Magic awaits,
Elaine
