Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Susan! Thanks for bringing us your question about dining at
Biergarten Restaurant at Epcot’s World Showcase.
The live polka music at the Biergarten Restaurant has always been a big draw for my young kids. They never hesitate to boogie on down on that dance floor, but when it comes to meal time, I’ve always had to find alternate meals for them. While my husband and I really enjoy the food at Biergarten, chicken nuggets are not available for our youngest diners.
I am sometimes able to negotiate some pork schnitzel and roasted chicken into the equation, but quickly realize it’s much more satisfying (and budget friendly) for them when my husband and I make a quick stop at the
Electric Umbrella in Future World. Their kid friendly menu offers chicken nuggets, mac & cheese and a three-cheese flatbread.
Susan, to make the ordering process as quick as possible, you can
order your kiddo’s meal from the Electric Umbrella on your My Disney Experience app right from your smartphone! It may be a great way to pass the time while you’re waiting in the
Test Track queue and it’s just a short walk from the attraction.
I’m thinking you can treat yourself to a German Beer Flight for your trouble and don’t forget to try some apple strudel. The fruit compote topping that accompanies it will make it all worth the extra walk to make sure the kids are taken care of!
