I am going to order a cake to be delivered to our room do we have to be their to receive it or will they just leave it and do I need to provide the dishes, forks and some thing to cut it with? Thank you for your help.

Hi, Mary Beth!  You do not need to be in your room to have the cake delivered there.  On a recent trip, we came home after a late night to find our cake and a couple of balloons waiting to help my daughter celebrate her birthday!

They did not automatically deliver utensils with my cake, but I made a call to the front desk, and they appeared pretty quickly.  I think it may depend on your resort, and if they offer private dining, but I have also been able to get them from the food court at the value resorts.

I hope your celebration is absolutely magical!
