Welcome back, Valerie! While I'm not a vegetarian, I have tried many of the vegetarian options on the menus at all of Disney Cruise Line's fabulous table service
restaurants. I have enjoyed each one! The chefs really go to a lot of trouble to be sure that the menus include something for everyone.
Some of my favorites have been the Wild Mushroom Stuffed Pasta at Triton's on the Wonder, the Black Bean Chipotle Cakes at Animator's Palate (on all four ships), Honey Roasted Butternut Squash at Tiana's Place on the Wonder, the Wild Mushroom and Sweet Onion Strudel on the Fantasy in Animator's Palate, and the Fried Plantain and Malanga pancakes on the Magic at Lumiere's. Each of the menus at the table service restaurants always lists at least two vegetarian options, so you'll have some great choices, I promise!
If you or someone in your group is vegan, you may want to contact the Special Services Team for more details, but from what I understand, as long as you list that information on your cruise reservations, you'll be presented with some great vegan options when you go to dine. Occasionally, you may need to pre-order meals for the next day, to ensure that the chefs have enough notice to prepare something special for you. Plus, with Disney's Rotational Dining the same dining servers will be with your family at each of the restaurants as you rotate through them for dinners over the course of the cruise, so no need to re-explain each night to a new dining server. This is a huge benefit! They'll get to know you and your preferences and will even anticipate and make great suggestions for you!
Disney really takes care of guests with
special dietary needs, so you will not go hungry when you sail with Captain Mickey and his crew, Valerie! Happy planning!
