What are our options with the Quick Service meal plan? Can we do a "sit down" meal at all or do we pay extra for that? What about character dining? Is that extra with any plan? Not sure that we want "food court" food for a whole wee

    Hi Tracy,

The Quick Service meal plan is exactly what it sounds like-counter or quick service meals-while you are at the Walt Disney World Resorts. If you take this option, you will have to pay for any table service meals including character dining. It was designed for families who like the flexibility to enjoy more of the parks than taking the time to seat and eat. However, there is a lot of variety and Beach and Cream Soda Shop at the Beach Club is on the plan and you actually get served there:)

The regular Dining Plan includes a quick service, a table service and a snack per person per day. You could use two table service meals to go to a character meal or pay for that meal separately. This option provides a nice balance between quick serve and a table service meals.

The Deluxe Dining would give you even more flexibility in your dining options. This is great if you want to got to a few character or dinner show meals.

If you do opt for the Basic or Deluxe Dining plan, remember to make your advance dining reservations so you have someplace to enjoy this benefit.

    Have a magical vacation!
