What are my options to please both a 14 year old girl and a 5 yr old boy that would make them both happy?

    Hi Kelly,

First off, I would let each child choose a fixed number of "must do" activities for each day (five might be a good number). Make an agreement that neither child will complain/protest during the other's choices.

That's a good start, but you should also know that there are MANY WDW activities that truly do appeal to all ages For example, the arcade type rides Buzz Lightyear and Toy Story Mania were great fun for my kids at age five and they still love them now as teenagers (p.s. I love them too). Other rides including the Jungle Cruise, Big Thunder Mountain, Pirates of the Caribbean appeal to all.

And don't forget things like swimming at your resort pool, themed meals like the Sci-Fi Dine-In, parades and fireworks that are great fun for all.

Walt Disney World was designed to be a place that entire families could enjoy together. I think you'll find that this is definitely the case.

    Enjoy!
