Are there other options for places to veg on the islands if the Cabanas are all sold out?

Welcome aboard, Robyn! You must be sailing to Castaway Cay with Disney Cruise Line soon! How exciting! Disney's private island in the Bahamas is one of my favorite spots in the whole world. It is a little paradise only for guests on Disney Cruise Line, and includes so many fun activities all day, delicious food at a few BBQ spots, and a gorgeous beach to enjoy!

While the private cabanas at Castaway Cay are really amazing, they're not at all necessary to enjoying a day on the island. In fact, my family and I choose not to rent a private cabana when we visit because we enjoy exploring the island so much! There are plenty of loungers, beach chairs, hammocks, and lots and lots of umbrellas to keep you in the shade. My family and I have very fair skin, so shade is a big deal for me, and I've never had a problem finding the right shady spot for my family to set up camp for the day. Besides on the beach, there are covered picnic areas when you're ready to dine at Cookies BBQ for lunch, and shady spots to enjoy oversized games at In Da Shade! But, do bring sunscreen because you won't want to miss out on the sunny fun of Pelican Plunge waterslides and all the other exploring and adventures that are available on Castaway Cay, Robyn!

Have so much fun on your magical adventure with Disney Cruise Line!
