Hello there - we have 2 options for meals at the Castle - Dinner 9:10 on 7/7/09 or lunch on both kids birthday 7/10/09. is one a better experience than the other? Would we make the fireworks with a 9am reservation? Love the reviews!!

    Hi Christopher,

I would definitely recommend you choose the lunch over the dinner as you have children. Firstly you'll know they'll stay awake long enough to eat and also there are more characters present at lunch time. Plus what a special treat for your children to eat in the castle on their birthday, make sure you let your server know and they may make it magical.

At lunch time you'll often find Snow White, Cinderella, Aurora, Belle and Mulan present whereas at dinner only the Fairy Godmother is there. You can see more details on Cinderella's Royal Table by clicking HERE. If you were to dine at 9.10pm and Wishes fireworks is scheduled for 10pm then I doubt very much if you'll be able to see them. If you do happen to have a quick meal you won't have time to find a good viewing spot as often Disney shuts the Castle and guests are not allowed through onto Main Street.

Hope that helps and you enjoy your meal,

    Jo
