What are the options for getting a massage or having a spa day while at Disney? My family and I are staying at the Boardwalk Inn and I would love some relaxing time at a spa to refresh midweek

Hi Renee! Thank you for asking your question here on the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

I like your style! A midweek spa day sounds like the perfect plan for a Walt Disney World vacation. There are several wonderful spa options within Walt Disney World. I will provide you a list of each, as well as provide links, so that you are able to explore the offerings at each option for yourself. I highly recommend that you make an advance reservation or book an appointment as early as possible to ensure availability; you can do so by calling 407-WDW-SPAS or 407-939-7727.  If you are a Disney Vacation Club member, be sure to check out Member Benefits for any discounts or specials offered at the different locations.

The largest of the spas available on Disney property is Senses – A Disney Spa at Disney’s Saratoga Springs Resort and Spa. Saratoga Springs is conveniently located near Disney Springs, so you could top off your lovely spa day with dinner at some of the best restaurants, do a little shopping, or experience some of the exciting nightlife options.

Another great option would be Senses – A Disney Spa at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort, one of the most beautiful resorts in all of Walt Disney World. Here you can also find some outstanding dining options such as the Supercalifragilistic Breakfast at 1900 Park Fare or dinner at the award-winning Victoria and Albert’s

In closer proximity to Disney’s BoardWalk Inn, you will find Ship Shape Massage, Salon, and Fitness located within Disney’s Yacht Club Resort. Massages are also available for booking at Disney’s Coronado Springs, Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge, and Mandara Salon at Walt Disney World Dolphin Hotel

You are positioned perfectly to enjoy all of the offerings of Epcot there at Disney’s BoardWalk Inn and I see that you will be arriving at the end of August, which is typically when you can catch the beginning of Epcot’s International Food and Wine Festival. The dates have not been released for 2020, so be sure to check back as your vacation approaches as it is one of my favorite festivals in all of Walt Disney World.

I hope you have a wonderfully magical vacation with a relaxing day at the spa!
