For the optional dress up night on the Dream, can my 12yo son wear a nice pair of dark jeans? He doesn't have any dress pants, and I'm wondering if I need to go buy him a pair... He has a dress shirt and tie he can wear with the jeans

    Ahoy, Kimberly!

It is wonderful to hEAR from you again. I'm also a mother to a 12-year old and have found that getting him to "dress-up" these days is becoming way more of a challenge. I love your idea of putting your son in a dark pair of jeans with a dress shirt and a tie. He will look absolutely dapper for your dinner plans! You will see a variety of dressy attire on the optional dress-up night, so he'll fit in just fine in his outfit.

Kimberly, each night there will be photo sessions offered by the Shutter's photographers in the Grand Lobby Atrium. This is the perfect opportunity to have someone else take some vacation pictures of your crew especially if you're all dressed up. You'll want to check your cruise newsletter, the Personal Navigator or the Disney Cruise Line Navigator app for the times and locations. Our cruise photos are always some of my favorite vacation souvenirs. You can purchase your photos onboard at Shutters or visit www.mycruisephotos.com to look over available options for pre-purchase.

I'm excited that your cruise is just around the corner! We hope you'll continue to send in all your planning questions because we love to help future cruisers like you!

    Have a magical day!
