Welcome to planDisney, Ariel! We're glad you found us to ask your question.
I always enjoyed editing my
Disney PhotoPass photos and adding borders and stickers. A few years ago, there were some changes and updates to the Disney PhotoPass website, and the ability to add borders and stickers was no longer available online. For a while, this feature remained in the
My Disney Experience mobile app for Apple devices but has not been available for Android users. In a recent update to the My Disney Experience mobile app, the ability to add borders and stickers has been removed for Apple users as well. I have no insight as to whether or not this feature might be restored in a future update.
I have noticed over the years that more and more of my Disney PhotoPass photos have already been enhanced with
Magic Shots, videos, or other graphics. My on-ride attraction photos appear in my account with borders specific to the attraction. Because it has been several years since those editing options began to disappear, my guess is they are being phased out, rather than a temporary glitch. I'm sorry I don't have better news for you. Perhaps we will all be pleasantly surprised by future My Disney Experience updates!
Ariel, be sure to download any photos you wish to save before they
expire, currently 45 days after the date the photo was captured.
