Is the option available to request 1 King bed vs double beds in the little mermaid rooms in AoA?

Hi, Felecia! Thanks for bringing us another great question. Disney's Art of Animation Resort is one of my daughters' favorite resorts. The animated theme of this resort really draws you in (see what I did there? ha!) to enjoy all of the fun it offers. Speaking of drawing, be sure to catch one of the Teach to Draw classes held daily near the front lobby. You never know what may spring to life in this class!

Disney's Art of Animation Resort does indeed have king-size beds available in the Little Mermaid section. You can call Disney Resort Reservations to have your bedding preference noted on your reservation. Please understand that since this bedding choice is not a specific booking category, it will be handled as a request and cannot be guaranteed.  Also, most of the rooms with a king-sized bed are handicap accessible and will first be given to those that require its use.

No matter the room you enjoy during your stay at Disney's Art of Animation Resort, I am sure you will have an unforgettable visit. Please stop by again, Felecia, if you need any more help filling in all the details of your vacation. Have a magical day!
