Is there an option available to buy a Lightning Lane experience to pair with a park hopper? Understand we can book more after we use initial selections, but would we have to additionally buy a new pass at that second/third park's price?

    Hello Charles,

Welcome to planDisney! We're happy you've reached out with your great planning question. It looks like your Disney World vacation dates are excitingly close, so let's sprinkle some pixie dust and get those Lightning Lane Passes all ready to go!

Sounds like you have an excellent strategy to pack in maximum fun by using both Park Hopper tickets, as well as a Lightning Lane Multi Pass (LLMP). Yes, you can "pair" these two plans. No, there is no additional cost for using your Multi Pass at a second or third park that day. Woo hooo! You are allowed to purchase one Multi Pass option, per person in your party, per day.

When you purchase your Lightning Lane Multi Pass, you will need to initially just choose one park (likely your first park of the day) and make your initial three attraction reservations there. I'd pick the earliest time slots available. As you mentioned, as soon as you scan in and use that first Lightning Lane pass on that day... immediately hop on to grab another reservation! Because the My Disney Experience app can detect you are using park hopper tickets, it will allow you to browse and select from Lightning Lane options at other parks.

Another option for your second/third park plans is that you could purchase up to two Lightning Lane Single Passes at other parks, for the most in-demand rides. Being able to skip the stand by line on the most popular attractions can be a huge time saver. Personally, I'd probably do this and add a later-in-the-day Lightning Lane Single Pass for a favorite ride at my second park. Especially if it was for Guardians of the Galaxy... THE BEST RIDE IN THE UNIVERSE!! In my opinion. And I know that I'm right.

IMPORTANT TIP ---> Please be sure to log on promptly at 7:00 am Eastern Time on the day your Lightning Lane booking window opens, for the best ride selection. That's 7 days in advance for Disney World resort guests, or 3 days in advance for off site guests.

Ooooh.... I get excited just thinking about your BEST. DAY. EVER!! You'll also be visiting during EPCOT's International Festival of the Arts, so hopefully you'll get a chance to enjoy some of the delicious food studio booths and fun photo opps they offer.

I hope this answers your question, Charles. Please let me know if you need any other tips or have additional questions about your upcoming visit.

    Have a wonderful time!
    Tami
